Administration

Charged with the overall office workings, the administration ministry covers the basics of phones, computers, office equipment, but also the overall personnel functions of our staff. With pastor and associate pastor, director of music and arts as well as contemporary worship leader, youth director and office manager, Trinity is staffed for our current needs and for our spiritual and numerical growth.

Human Resources

Staff members are a crucial component in Trinity’s ministry.  This team reviews and updates personnel policies, maintains the employee handbook, approves the position descriptions for all staff and keeps them up-to-date, administers the benefits program, hires and fires personnel, recommends to the Session appropriate changes in salaries and/or benefits, conducts an annual evaluation of each staff member in conjunction with the pastor, provides opportunities for staff members to surface problems or make suggestions, and works with staff members to enhance individual effectiveness.  This personnel team ensures that hiring of all personnel associated with Trinity, whether program staff, support staff, or the staff of the preschool, is conducted in conformity with the PCUSA-wide plan for equal employment opportunity.

Risk Management

This team ensures appropriate liability and workers compensation insurance coverage to protect the assets of the church and works closely with the Building & Grounds committee on property insurance coverage.

Count your blessing (CYB)

This small team count and record receipts from regular and special offerings, memorial contributions, and building use payments as well as other sources.  They prepare and make bank deposits.  If you have the ability to work with numbers, operate copier and calculator, and keep sensitive information confidential, then consider volunteering for this important ministry of the church.  Time required is 1 – 2 hours per month.
