Evangelism

Following Jesus’ dictate to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”
(Matthew 28), reaching out into our community is vital to Trinity. We are a “sent out” people who understand that our primary mission is to spread the good news of the gospel to all people. Whether it be through post-card mailings or advertisements in the local papers and schools, Trinity opens our doors at all times to all peoples. We continue to strive to be a diverse and inclusive community recognizing that our neighbors live in the District, Alexandria, Fairfax, Mclean, and Reston as well as Arlington. Contact Gail Klein to join with others with the gifts of evangelism, communications, marketing and sales.

Website www.trinityarlington.org
|

Where three of four new members used to be drive-by referrals ("We just got lost in the neighborhood and saw this cute church on the hill we had to go try”), now three of four have been to our website to check us out or have been reading sermons on-line for months and months. Our website is always “under construction” as we seek to reach out in ministry at all hours of the day to all parts of the world. Come join in this ever-changing ministry to members, guests, visitors, and now our world-wide participants. If you have skills, interests in this area, please e-mail the website at admin@trinityarlington.org.

Newsletter
|
| |
“I always look forward to Trinity’s newsletter” admitted one Presbytery level official, “because it’s one of the best.” Mailed to members, visitors, guests and friends of Trinity, the newsletter’s circulation is far reaching. Now on-line, we attempt to connect people with God and Christ all over the world. Though the newsletter editor’s staff officially includes just her husband, the team of writers and picture-takers are legion.
If you’ve got a digital camera, please use it often and send your pictures directly to
the church office.

Inquirer’s Class
|
| |
These Sunday morning classes (8 weeks) are for those who want to join Trinity, those who aren’t sure yet whether becoming a member is the thing to do, and/or those who have questions about the Christian faith or about Trinity. We’ll get to know each other, share faith stories, and talk about what is really important to us in a faith community. These classes will help you get to know Trinity Presbyterian Church, yourself, and others who like you who are thinking deeply about faith and membership. Come explore, strengthen, and connect and take your faith life seriously. Elders Wren Abramo and Jim Dykstra join with Rev. Ed Dawkins to lead these classes. Contact the church office to inquire about the next
series!
